For me it's the other way round. There are soooo many provinces to scout, so i rather waste some KPs then scouting time ^^

Marble: 412%
Silk: 422%
Gems: 412%

I do the opposite. At least once a day the coins hit the limit so I have a non-stop scouting going on to make use of it. When the new tech-tree arrives I will get so many KPs from them that I may get halfway through the reseach within few days :p

Every day there is a point I think that there couldn't be more money, but then there are also everyday moments I don't know where to get it!
So, I'm upgrading where I can ( if I have the goods) and scouting whenever I can.
My boostrate is:
marble: 241%
silk: 228%
gems: 241%

I have just finished the tech tree and my rates of boost are:

marble : 453%
silk : 443%
gems: 443 %

with Mountain Halls lvl 2 (443% without it)
