Thanks for all the feedback once again!
Before answering to some of the questions that were posted, we'd like to just make a brief statement addressing some of the comments regarding pacing we've seen in the thread over the last few days: it is possible to play the Spire as you see fit. You will be able to fight, and we'll add the Diplomacy feature to make sure that those who don't want to fight (for any reason) will have a chance to use resources instead. You do not
have to participate, and the Spire of Eternity will be a
permanent, recurring feature that you can go to whenever (it will be available for about 5 days a week). The Spire is not a one-time event.
If you want to go for specific rewards the Spire offers, it is up to you if and when you want to go for that. We will still add a multiplayer aspect to the Spire of Eternity too, to make it possible to gain additional rewards if multiple players in a Fellowship participate in the Spire of Eternity. How this will look exactly, will be announced in more detail later. It is up to you and, when the multiplayer functionality is implemented, your Fellowship how much focus you want to put on the Spire. The feature is and will remain optional, but we of course like to make it attractive to most players. However, that means we want the Spire to be something you
want to play, and not something you
have to play. It is then up to you how you interpret that, and how you use the Spire.
And with that said, let's answer some more of your questions!
1. Can the timewarp affect the spire durations? Is that something that can be added?
Currently we have no plans to add that effect to Timewarp Ancient Wonder, but it's certainly something worth considering. And if not for the Timewarp, maybe for another Wonder?
2. Re:rewards instead of coin&supply I think KP packs and anything that is
already offered is better.
When we win a prize, the feeling
- if we get our top pick is "Yay, I won!"
- if not our first pick, but anything other than C&S is "OK, not too bad, I can use that"
- but if it's a coin or supply instant it's a loss, not even a win at all.
To put it into perspective,
- a 10% coin rain gives me 4.1m coins. That isn't even enough to buy 3 KP.
- a 20% supply instant gives me 820K supplies. That will buy 1,250 magic dust. I make 200,000 per day.
Thanks for sharing!
@Muf-Muf thank you for taking the time to read all the feedback, but sadly you didn't pay any attention to my feedback. To be clear, I'm very serious about this. I've seen (through my work) a lot of heartbreaking situations, due to addiction, including
gambling addiction! I know that Elvenar doesn't force you to spend real money, but it does entice you to keep going for that change to win something good, and seduce you to spend real money buying diamonds to get there. There are still a growing number of underaged players playing Elvenar. Do you really want them to get in the hype of spending more and more?
Thank you for sharing your concerns. Gambling, and especially gambling addiction, is of course a very serious topic. At InnoGames, we always make sure that we are as transparent as possible with our rewards, especially where there is an element of chance involved. As an example, in the Spire of Eternity, as well as in our events and other places in the game, you are able to see the exact chances you have of receiving certain rewards up front, and you are able to see that you will always get
a reward - you'll never walk away empty-handed. That way anyone can always take an informed decision.
Related to that, another question for
@Muf-Muf :
In FoE we sometimes get quest objectives such as:
Will we get similar quest objectives related to the Spire?
I have not heard of plans for that yet, but it sounds very plausible that we'll get similar quest conditions in the future, comparable to how we have gotten new quest conditions after we released Crafting, for example.

I insist, can we sell the building? I mean the spire of eternity, it is annoying and ugly, it is not worth anything, it does not contribute anything to me and it constantly opens up when I drag the city with the mouse, sincerely it bothers me.
just a suggestion, if this invention, just to see how it goes, could be simulated battles??, that people do not lose their troops and that they do not receive the prizes, to see if it is feasible if it can be played or if it is worth it, who ??? Who will replace everything that players have lost when lowering difficulty levels?
I insist, I want to sell the spire of eternity building
It will not be possible to sell the Spire of Eternity building. However, we are preparing a new city map that has the building in a slightly different location. And, the problem with the Spire opening a bit too easy has been resolved yesterday. Should you still experience problems with that, please feel free to create a bug report so that we can look into that.
If someone doesn't like the Spire, they can try politely suggesting that players not interested in the Spire be able to toggle it off.
@Muf-Muf could that suggestion be passed on to the developers? Toggling it off?
It can surely be passed on, but it seems very unlikely that this will happen, because we wouldn't want to hide a big feature like that.

Is this ok in the last chest? only 2 times 5% ?????
This is a bug that is currently being worked on. You can follow progress on it
