Is this especially for people with visual problems, or do you think it's too hard to read in general?

Not only with visual problems, it really hurts as it is.
I understand you need to make it red (because it's a loss), so you should use another color for the background. Much darker wouldn't look good either, but the blue doesn't fit anyway to the style of the game. I think Rike will be able to find a colour which fits better

I don't have any visual problems, nor does the wife, but we both find it hard to read the red.
I think Flabbes is right and it's the dark on dark.

Hmm are todays release notes from yesterday's update? I'm asking cuz we're already running Version 1.33 and the notes are still inside the 1.32 thread.
