Duplicate No notification if new message

I have not been getting any notification for new messages recently ( think its been like this for 2-3 days now) and I also am not finding the new messages highlighted bold which was said to be implemented in this thread :

Request the mods and the dev's to have a look and make the necessary changes to the messaging system so that it works like it used to...

Hi ddevil, thank you for reporting this. This issue has already been reported in this thread as well and is still not a confirmed fix. Sometimes notifications don't show up correctly and sometimes they do but as it's still not set to "fixed", the development team is still working on a definite solution here! Please follow the other thread for any updates on it and thanks again for reporting!
