I really enjoy this game and I really expect more features in this game to make it more dynamic. I have some ideas if they are good enough for consideration.
First of all,
We can apply some RPG element. As it is a fantasy game, it would be fun if it has some RPG things going, right? We only build, upgrade, and fight enemies. How about we have a Heroes or leaders of our city that can ware items. Items can be acquired from battle, quest, PVP to boost power of army, and the heroes themselves. Hero can die but Item will not lost. And you can guess, one hero per one city.
Also, If we have heroes, we should have bosses too. Bosses are powerful enemies that are harder to take down and they drop items. It will make the encounter more exiting.
For example that I will give.
Heroes of elf side.
Forest lord : A giant ent move slow but hit hard with ton of health, give health bonus to other units
Warlock : A magic wielder, capable of using the most destructive spells include area of effect, but has lower health.
Heroes of human side.
Holy knight : A powerful knight, heals friendly unit a small amount of health after the end of the turn.
Juggernaut : An unstoppable death machine, capable of firing powerful bolts.
Secondly, I have a feeling that you will make some PVP content in the future. Of cause, we love to beat the hell out of each others and pillage like we do in forge of empires. However, we will make it more interesting. PVP rewards are not points for expanding your city, but various include spacial buildings especially for military purpose.
For example
Tower : giving defense bonus
Mercenaries : Thieves, Mortars, Necromancers, Knights, etc.
Items for heroes.
One Thing I don't like in Elvenar is they don't have much options to customize your city right now. Everything seem to be the only one direction and at the end, everyone's cities will just be the same. I know that you guys are working on it. I am not telling you to add great buildings because it will just copy FOE. I suggest "Talent tree" and can be built up by using "talent points" (TP). Talent points are not given every hour like KP. In the beginning, TP will be given at 10. After that, you can acquire more TP throughout the game.
What do you do if you have full KP capacity and can't go anywhere? let's convert them in to Talent points. The rate will keep accelerating.
For example of talent tree
Assassin : Turn sword dancer into assassin giving them ability to stealth.
Shadow dancer: Alternative to assassin, turn your sword dancer into shadow dancer giving them more attack power.
Poisoned blade : Sword dancer, assassin, and shadow dancer has poison effect now
Blessing of Enar : Ent and forest lord gain more health.
Vallorian diabolism : Givin grand warlock and sorceress more spell power
Cerberus : Turn hell hound in to Cerberus giving them more health
Drake : Alternative to Cerberus, your hell hound turns in to drake giving them one spot range attack
Templar : Turn paladin in to Templar, After the die, all friendly units are heal for small amount of health.
Hades empower : Hell hound and Cerberus gain more health
Seal of the Dragon : Paladin, Templar, holy knight, drake gain more attack power.
And so on
Sorry for the long post, but these are my idea to give you guys into developing. I wish you will consider just some of it. I believe that many of fans are waiting for more progress.
