Use Firefox, turn off HTML and it should work with Chrome again.

It seems it is linked to a quest, some works, some none (probably : Upgrade 4 buildings to level 4 or higher OR Upgrade 1 building to level 15 or higher)
I see a error message about rewards in the console (but i have not written).
