I'm the Forum Manager of the TW2-Beta. I saw Elvenar in the Innogames-Newsletter and used my beta key today :)

Aye, we got in community recruitment for the game, was kinda disappointed the beta did not have guild feature implemented yet tho :()

And I hope it never does have any guilds etc. I will be extremely disappointed if this does. It will become another Forge of Empires and thus not interest me. My opinion only and I am sticking to it.

I tried TW2......Was totally unimpressed. Not enough thought was put into it, unlike this great game. TW2 is going to fail for a variety of reasons. It will go by the way side like KARTUGA and LAGOONIA.

I think TW was actually quite popular in its day and has had quite a long run. If it's winding down it's more likely because it has run its course and there are newer, fresher projects. It's not my cup of tea, but it's not a bad game.

Kartuga had an issue with the ship controlling, I liked the game in principle but I wasn't going to play it because I found the controls too annoying. But it was cut off early, like Rising Generals, which likely means they just decided it's not going to do well in the long run. I don't know how long Lagoonia was around? I played that once too, but at the time I didn't realize it's an Inno product.

I liked Lagoonia, then one day it was closed down. I spent monies and got nothing for a refund. Hope this is not the case with this game.

You can't compare Elvenar with TW2. The essence of both games are completely different. It's nearly the same if you compare Fifa with Call of Duty. One group of people like that kind of game and other people like the other ones ;)

I don't wanted to start a debate on principles which game is better ;)

Yes I can compared anything to anything and you cannot tell me I can't. I can compare apples to oranges and you to muff-muff...I can compare girls to boys and can compare coffee to tea..When I found elvenar and finally got a key I found this was a GREAT game. I shut down my TW2 game, because I found this game MUCH better in both design and imagination. TW2 is a weaker version of the original, and not enough thought was put into it. When I arrived here, I immediately LOVED IT, and immediately supported by buying DIAMONDS. They are a girls best friend.

So when I found this I compared it to TW2....NOT GOOD....Elvenar....VERY good.

You didn't understand me. Sure, I can't forbid you to compare anything. But it makes absolutely no sense to compare apples with oranges. It's your own opinion, that Elvenar is better than TW2. Both games are great games... The opinions are devided ;)

It makes every sense to compare them. They are made by the same company. I can compare anything I want....cupcakes to sushi if I want. TW2 is a much less thought out game in comparison to the original game. Fails on so many points. Whereas this is much better overall to both TRIBAL WARS versions. TW1 is outdated and stale, TW2 is not a well thought out version of the original version. Played both. TW1 for more than 7 years and have accounts in the many of millions of points, I know each one backward and forwards....

ELVENAR IS GREAT
LONG LIVE ELVENAR

TW1....stale
TW2....weak

Here I found same bullwhips, swords and dung forks. Do need a litte bit of it, to discuss your disagreement? ;) I have popcorn, a nice sofa and I want to see a great fight to make me happy.
:D:p
When you go to Bill Gates and say the Windows/Microsoft is a rubbish thing... so Bill Gates cannot official say.... yessss :) This is here the same thing.

I can say that some games of Innogames are rubbish in my eyes, that's my own opinion. I also can say that Game X from Company X is better than Game Y from Innogames. But RugBug didn't understand what I mean...

I am also from FoE where I have played for 2.5 years so I follow Innogames Facebook page which is where I read about Elvenar.

I enjoy the strategy, city building aspect of FoE where I tend to be a farmer not a fighter. Due to necessity and much better graphics I find myself drawn into the battle side of things more here.
I do miss the guild/friends/chat aspect of the game as although I have many neighbours and I have messaged the few that visit me (to thank them for their assistance) only one has ever written back. :-( . Hopefully this will change with time but I can see why, with staggered membership, it would be unfair to have strong guilds set up while others are still struggling to find their way.

Well done Innogames, really enjoying it so far

I played FoE for some time, I played Tribalwars for a long time. They didn't give me a feeling of specialness. I love the mythical way in Grepolis, I like the way Elvanar is made. But I agree with this

It's like comparing Company of Heroes to the Battle of Middle-Eart (Any version you like)

I found Elvenar through Innogames Newsletter - I played Tribal wars for a long time and am playing FOE and liked both games. Elvenar looks fantastic, I am playing it for 3 days now and enjoy it very much. The marble factory is such fun to watch :)

I came here from The West, another Inno game. When I saw the graphics,
and read the description, I said 'that's for me!" and pre-registered in November.
No regrets! This game has been beautifully designed, I have had very few
"problems' and love the challenge of city planning and discovering new
technologies. I also love to help neighbors, even if they don't help me back.:p

I discovered Elvenar playing "The Settlers Online".
Somebody mentioned the game in the forum and as I happily got a beta-key, I checked the game and I liked it.
I have been playing "settlers" for four years and by the time it has been getting a bit boring, furthermore it is used more and more as a pure "cash cow" by the owners, neglecting the needs and wishes of the players. So, when Elvenar develops and puts up more features 1 might switch to this game for good.

AllanSimonsen, I love the Settlers! However, I have only played the PC version,
not online. This game sounded similar when I first discovered it. I am looking forward
to the changes and additions as Elvenar grows and grows!

I'm a FoE player, a blurb about Elvenar came up on an login banner, so I registered and followed the game on FB. Happened to snag a beta key off facebook less than 30 seconds after they posted a few days ago.
