Putting wishing wells in as a daily was going to far in giving and taking them completely out was too far the other way...

To me they still exist but in another form, and it takes more effort, On average i net in 350 diamonds on one world and 215 on the other world every week. where 215 is the more resonable number most players could hit without to much of an issue if they wanted to.
Thats as much as 16 wishing wells would produce on an average week.

All in all, the event is OK. As usual, the graphics are great but ... the numbers of this set are way too low to convince me to build it. If the space wouldn't be such a huge issue, probably I would build all event buildings (which atm most of them are in my inventory) just for the beauty of them. Mmmwell ... ahem ... most of them ... still dislike the gingerbread mansion 
Just to be fair, I am thrilled for not having those awful spinning buds and casino type event.
I like troops instants, I don't miss much time instants since I have hundreds and hundreds of them from Spire.

So I got bored tonight because the US servers, and now the EN servers, are down for supposed maintenance, though US-1 has been down for over five hours, while the other are spotty. Anyway, I started a Beta account.
But on your comment, you must get some bad RNG from your wells. When I have that many wells out, I average at least 100 diamonds per day, or at least 700 diamonds per week. Wishing Wells have bought me several premium expansions. And this is probably the reason Inno stopped giving them to us. Too many people getting their expansions for free, instead of buying diamonds.

The game was getting pretty tight for free players. Doing something to allow free players to earn more resources was probably a good idea. If they don't spend, it is a part of their character and core beliefs and too much aggravation leads to quitting. I got more expansions on live because of the wishing wells. I'd have never paid the market prices, but with the wishing well diamonds I did top up with diamond sales to help with the last chapter and premium expansions. It had been a long time since I'd spent anything.
But, with the current direction with events I am back to a spending drought. With so many event buildings, my interest switched to the now gone time instants, and with a clear message that event buildings will be down graded in the future, well, that was a real stab to the blueprints and upgrading that we waited 2 years to get. Drought on...

No more shuffle .... but 1500+ cristal to have 1 daily building ^^ (i do some calculation, it shoud be 320/daily cristal ... we can assume that the game is totally random, i remember the 2000+ diamond more to have artefacts ... and finally Inno does not desactivate the recipe), sometimes i do not like very much this game.

Could we have time boosters included in the event chests please? We don't seem to get a lot of these. You're lucky if you can score some in the spire,. Most of the time you get spell fragments when what you really wanted was the time boosters. Atleast thats why i play the spire. Any other reward is a bonus but not really what I wanted.

And you receive 7x 5h time booster guaranteed, if you reach first level. Isn't that enough ?

the quest # 94. on your list says: "Solve 6 Encounters or Solve 24 Tournaments Encounters" while it is "Solve 4 Encounters or Solve 16 Tournaments Encounters" for me. It has either changed or there was a copy/paste error when the list created.

I love the designs for this event and some of the rewards. I won't be going for the whole set, as it's just too large for my town(s) but a fun event, in any case.

I am LOVIN this EVENT!!! Except for the little Fart it has been seamless, gorgeous, and easy at least for a slow 70 yr old player, doddering along, getting pretties. I am in Level 5 and have a very small city but I am going to save all my pretties anyways! This has been apleasure to play and cant wait to do this on my Live worlds where I have more room and more $$ and goods... MORE LIKE THIS.... NO SHUFFLES PLEASE!!!

Really enjoying this event, the trading dock set buildings and the ships are great ! Sadly although I spent all my fuel I missed getting the amuni and the woodelven ships and I really wanted the complete set. Will we have another chance to get the ships we missed I wonder ? I do hope so. Best event we have had in ages, graphics wonderful and my city feels complete now that the traders can actually bring in their wares.

The Amuni ship has basically the same seeds per tile per hour production as the Savory Food Market and Festival Merchant.
The Orc ship is also a great Orc producer and gives the same Orcs per tile per hour as the Orc Nest.
I will be trying for both on Live just to have a little variety of appearance in my city.
