Cannot reproduce Stutter in animated hompage

I see we have a new homepage, looks nice with the animation of leaves blowing across the screen.

However there is a "stutter" when you use Firefox:
When the leaf I've mark reaches that position the entire background moves a couple of pixels to the left for a fraction of a second.

To clearly see this, save the images and view them quickly after each other with a viewer.

I don't see any stutter when using Chrome.

And suddenly the new homepage has reverted back to the old one without any animations !?

Edit #1: On the Dutch server I still have an animated homepage (the one with leaves blowing across the screen) but here on Beta I see a static homepage.

Edit #2: On the Dutch server we're also back to the static homepage.

What are you guys doing with the homepage ?!

So far we have been unable to reproduce this. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue?

I think you first have to (re-)introduce that animated homepage again because now I only see a static one in Firefox.
In Chrome I do see the animate homepage (on the Dutch server only) ! Why are the 2 browsers giving different homepages ?
