Maybe they need to clear their cache or restart their browser. I just now entered the Spire and did the first encounter and collected the chest with no problems.

It might indeed be a cache issue @Skillpowers . Have they already tried that? If so, could you ask them to contact our support team so we can take a closer look at their account specifics?
