Duplicate Sorceress combat bonus applied to foe

My unit: Sorceress (-60% defensive bonus vs. short ranged units)
Enemy unit: Archer, from planks province (no Special boni)

Sorceress attacks archer:

What should happen: An unmodified attack is performed.
What actually happens: Attack is modified by -60% (perhaps the sorceress' own def. bonus is applied to the wrong side).

p.s. This is not identical with the bug report concerning the sorceress' broken Valor special ability.

Hello Amarthano, thank you for reporting this to us. This appears to be more related to this thread actually:

But it is slightly different. More of a reversed version of that issue, as you seem to be experiencing it during attack and not while striking back. Is the issue persistent for you/happens all the time or is it a less common occurrence? Is the sorceress the only unit you're experiencing this with?

this might be indeed connected to the strike-back issue, but since neither sorceress nor archer are able to strike back I cannot really prove it. Here is a screenshot of an attack as described above (sorceress attacks archer):

Now here is one vs. heavy ranged (defence bonus is again wrongfully applied to the sorceress' attack, -60% again which also happens to be the sorceress own def. bonus vs. heavy ranged).

But here is an attack vs. a thief (light melee, has no defence boni at all, the sorceress herself should have a +40% attack Bonus vs. light melee). What actually happens: Sorceress attacks with a -20% (40% - 60%) penalty.

So it seems that no attack/def. values were interchanged, but rather that the sorceress suffers (on top of her existing boni) an additional -60% attack penalty against every opponent.


edit:
Just read the other bug beport dealing with the broken valor spell once more. If broken valor is cast on the foe first and then the "normal" attack of the sorceress follows, the sorceress herself will suffer from her own buggy broken valor. If that's the case, my thread is just a duplicate of http://beta.blog.elvenar.com/index....broken-valor-spell-not-working-properly.1877/ and not describing a separate bug.

Thank you for the follow up, Amarthano. Having double checked this it is in fact the same issue, the spell is simply cast on the enemy right away.
