Not a Bug runes from questline not in my wonder inventory

Current situation:
__ Questline is finished , rune icon showed earning of 8 runes, but if I look to the runes of the specific wonders the number is still 0
__

Expected situation:
__ I would expect a rune count of 4 for both wonders
__ Probably it is related to teh fact that I didn't unlock the wonder in the techtree, but in the past it was also possible to earn runes for wonders that weren't unlocked yet, so it's a fair assumption that it would also be case now

1. __ don't research teh related wonders yet
2. __ finish teh questline

4. __
5. __

I can confirm this issue.

Because you did not research the Ancient Wonders for which the Rune Shards should have been yet, you received Rune Shards for the Elven Ancient Wonders. This went correctly and you did receive 2x 4 Rune Shards. Should you wish to have more details, please contact our Support, as we can't really give out details about your account on this public forum.

And where it was described that the unlocking of the wonder was a precondition to get the shards??????
I found it nowhere...
In the past you could contribute to wonders and receive shards...
