Dear Humans and Elves,

Today we bring you an update containing a number of improvements, including a refactoring of the messaging system. We've also added a couple of new quests, and have changed the last Dwarven quest that asks to delete your Dwarven Portal to be declineable. On top of that, we give you a bunch of other stuff and a number of bug fixes as well. For a full list of changes, please see below!

  • A set of Quests introducing the Spells feature has been added

  • The messages system has been refactored, in order to solve a number of display problems with it and make it more reliable. Its usability is still the same
  • If your Spell inventory is empty, you will now see a screen explaining this, rather than a completely empty screen
  • When deleting Guest Race Portals, the race-specific Goods are no longer deleted

  • The storyline quest requiring to sell the Dwarven Portal has been changed into a declineable, non-repeatable quest

  • In some cases it was impossible to delete applications from the Fellowship Menu as an Archmage
  • The 'Back to City' button in the rankings now works again
  • If your maximum training size changes while production is running in the Barracks, this no can no longer result in loss of resources
  • Displayed training time and actual training time are now consistent again
  • Fixed some depth sorting issues with various buildings in various scenarios
  • When having less than five different unit types, the greyed-out images were sometimes wrong
  • Unit tooltips could incorrectly say that you needed research, even if you already had them unlocked - this has now been fixed
  • The icons for the 'Shrine and Lantern' and 'Pond of Recreation' technologies were switched and have now been corrected
  • Cancelling construction (not upgrading) of the Magic Academy no longer results in an internal error
  • The world map no longer scrolls when you have the text box of the chat selected and use the arrow keys

We have just implemented two more changes:
  • It is now possible again to visit more than one other player in a row without returning to your city
  • The Magic Academy and Manufactory Spell's research has now become mandatory
 
We have just implemented a patch containing:
  • Produced troops are always the correct amount again
  • It's possible again to click a Residence or Granite Mine after production has been collected
 
We have just installed a hotfix on Beta containing the following changes:
  • It is no longer possible to stay in 'move mode' when visiting another player's city
  • Reviving units is possible again if you have already built the Mercenary Camp
  • In the Barracks and the Magic Academy, a new production is added at the end of the production queue again, instead of in front
  • Barracks will no longer get stuck
  • Buildings in your city will no longer become invisible
  • The number of available research expansions can no longer be negative
  • The Builders' Hut now correctly asks for confirmation for spending Diamonds again when enabled in your settings
