instead of upgrade button I will get research button
and when I press buton research tree will start

the research in tech tree is never the 2/3 point have you gotten that far already? I don't think you have researched it that is why you cannot complete quest yet

No, i am not that far. I thought with new techlevel also upgrade of main hall was possible

Only if you research the new levels. Same goes for Barracks, Residences and Workshops.

As explained above, this is indeed not a bug but intended behaviour. To build the new Main Hall levels, you will need to research the 'Dwarven Style Main Hall' technology in the research tree. We tested it and it currently works as intended.
