Cannot reproduce Knowledge points not showing

So buildings are missing i cannot collect, i can deal with that.
ButCDM pleaseite that i thought i could at least donate my KPs to my research, i tried to do so it showed that my KPs had been taken on the KP bar at the top of my screen but my research bar showed no donation at all.

Yes even after restart
the buildings not acknowledging your inputs is annoying but missing KPs is a pain.
