Answered Knowledge points at the end of the dwarfen tech-tree

Does anybody know how knowledge points gained - when you already have reached the end of the dwarfen tech tree - are handled if you don't spend them?

My guess:
a) The KP gained hourly are wasted.
b) The KP gained by completing provinces are... well, I'm not sure. Is it like at the start of the dwarfen era, that they are stored even if you already had 10 in stock, so you can collect them for faster research at the start of the next era? Or - as we have wonders now - will they be wasted too (cause the devs want us to spend them in AWs of our fellowship/friends/neighbours)?

When the bar is full you will not receive any more KP's per hour. However, KP's earned from encounters are still added to the total. When a player has researched the entire tree, KP's can be used in an ancient wonder, or donated to an ancient wonder from another player.
