Guilds/ Alliances - What's happening?

What is happening with the guild/alliance idea? I do not see a feedback thread, only promises of it to come. Or has it arrived without an announcement?

The focus is still on bug fixing at this point, or in the case of culture calculation, restructure already existing features. Since the start of the game, updates have been announced here on the forum, and we will continue to do so in the future

I couldn't see anything on Guild/Alliance topic, that is why I asked.
Oh well, If everybody is busy with the game, then we just have to patient...

The last thread there was on the 22nd Feb. It's a long time ago, you see why I thought the guild thing could already be happening. Pity the machine has got problems, but I will not give up hope yet.
