Question Event-Timer missing?

I was just told that there is an upcoming event starting soon. I would have been happier if i would have been able to recognize it by myself
Some players have the regular ingame Event-Timer counting down in their cities but in my city it is missing.

Why is that?

maybe its a mistake made by inno. I guess, it would be to close to the running FS adventure. Dont't know.

For now it's scheduled 15 hours after FA, there is only one placeholder for events, so you will see countdown only when FA ends (if they won't change the schedule).

I don't see it on mobile either but I know several others who can.

Seems to me like Browser-Users (PC) should be surprised, especially because of the short time (15h) in between.

I can't see it both in browser and in android app. But can see it scheduled in client-server exchange (were I used to look for such things).

There can be various reasons for this:
- May be Google pushed updated app not for all users
- Different screen resolutions and scaling
- Some a/b testing of how it should look like without affecting the most of the userbase
