Cannot reproduce Can't complete "Copper Whopper" quest

Current situation:
The quest is asking to produce a Dwarven Statue. I did one but it does not count
I have enough room to store the copper.
Expected situation:
Once the production of Dwarven Statue is completed the quest should be done.

I was able to collect and finish the quest.

The quest is only completed once you pick up the copper.
