Ancient Wonder runes

The Wiki seems to suggest that you are able to use excess runes from one wonder to create runes for another. The help screen on the AW tab seems to agree.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Sure it is. Broken shards can be used on any Wonder you like to create a rune.

Yes, the broken rune shards are common to all your wonders, if you look you will see you have the same number of broken shards in each wonder.

Just be careful you don't click "Forge Rune" unless you're in the tab for the Wonder where you want to insert it. I did that once... it was painful.
