We have the option to to click the thumbs up when we like a suggestion, but there is no thumbs down when we don't like a suggestion.

No, I am against the idea.
I already noticed people start not liking stuff when they can't use it or they don't have a positive effect from it.
Like a couple weeks ago I gave a list with extra quests for an event.
A simple task like open 1 box in the event was burned down just be-course it uses some event items they want to use for an other moment.
Also one like pick up a key from around your town, something you would do any way was not good.
Or say "hello" in FS chat (not good, people might talk with each other)

There are many more decent ideas but some don't like it so it will demoted with a thumbs down.
That is the reason why I will give a thumbs down for this idea, just to prevent people to demote other ideas with just a stupid thumb down.

mmmmmnope. You don't like an idea, ignore it. Simple as that.
The last thing we want is to make ppl feel punished, some might even feel humiliated. We barely have ppl daring to post in forums, do you want to scare them away?

Agree with @Alcaro. And we all (should) know that suggestions need to get a certain % positive feedbacks to get forwarded to developers, so there's absolutely no need to "dislike" them. Overall considering that some socials who support this feature are hiding it.
