Out of sheer interest, I gathered a relic, and now the bar is ful, and it says -1/4 relics (as in the screenshot)

reloading doesn't help...

Thank you for your report. After accepting this quest, have you paid 2 of these relics (e.g. for spells or AW upgrades) before acquiring the first new one perhaps?

so, I've tested it.

the thing is reproducable with that method.

1. step: get the quest that you should get 4 relics
2. step: build a new spell

and now we have -2/4.
