Tested several times and got the same result.
Whenever I send a text, my chat notifier pops up. I shouldn't get a notification for my own text. It doesn't happen each time but if there's been a while like 10-20 seconds, with new text it appears again. It stays there until I close and re-open the window or send another text.
Also some notifications pop up while the chat window is open and active. I am not sure if this is the intended behaviour but usually notifications appear when the window is closed in order to alert the user for new messages.
