Yes
@Burger Meister Meister , all suggestions are certainly read and forwarded, so thank you for sharing. The core of what you're saying is indeed true, we generally have about 2 weeks of Beta testing new events, so expecting to change the entire system within such a short time frame is not in the cards, neither is completely canceling it. I like to be open and transparent about that, so everyone knows what to expect. The best thing we can make out of it now, is gather as much suggestions as possible to improve on this system in the time that we have, to make sure the experience is better on Live when it launches there. It's indeed also not about "surpressing emotions", but we know the general feeling about the event and that's more than clear. So instead of getting stuck into those complaints over and over again without getting farther, as a Beta community we can all be a lot more valuable if we fire as many solutions as possible, so the game team can work with those. As I said before, of course expressing your disappointment or angriness is perfectly fine, but each day that passes with just sarcasm or complaints and no improvement suggestions, is basically a day lost, which is a shame.
I'm not a game designer myself, nor is it up to me to make any decisions. I'm merely here to communicate company decisions and information to the players and forward your concerns, feedback and suggestions to the company. I can't make any promises about the future, since the ultimate decision making is not in my hands, but what I can do is forward as many suggestions as possible so our game team has something to work with and knows your views on what is and is not enjoyable. As you know from past experience, we do have the opportunity to use this Beta community for improvement before Live release, so let's take that opportunity and use the short time we have for that as good as possible.
