Here I go with a copy of the next event announcement from our beloved CM @Deadeye Jerry.
As autumn's golden days dwindle across Elvenar, the legendary Yule Cat arrives to oversee the season's most crucial test - will communities prove worthy of a gentle winter through proper celebration and preparation?
This curious feline guardian wanders between villages, observing harvest festivities with keen interest. He watches dancers preserve memories at the Harvest Memory Theater, judges the quality of golden nectar brewed by trolls at cozy lodges, and ensures that ribbon-weavers achieve perfect balance in their autumn ceremonies.
The Yule Cat believes that communities that celebrate together survive winter's isolation better. Those who share stories, craft warming elixirs, and participate in seasonal rituals earn his approval - and with it, the promise of mild weather and abundant stores.
His standards are peculiar but consistent. He expects harvest memories to be preserved through proper dance, demands that nectar recipes remain secret yet generous, and insists that ribbon ceremonies maintain perfect color balance.
Most surprisingly, he approves of the trolls' lazy approach, recognizing that strategic rest can be as valuable as frantic activity. Villages that pass his autumn inspection enjoy warm hearths and full pantries through winter. Those that fail face cold winds and dwindling supplies until they learn the true meaning of community preparation. Will you earn the Yule Cat's blessing this season?
What is a Guardian, you ask?
This is a completely new feature and reward we're introducing to the world of Elvenar! Guardians are collectable, upgradable and activatable magical entities, which grant special effects to different aspects of your gameplay. They live in a mystical sanctuary found northwest of your city called Guardians Grove (close to the Spire of Eternity entry point).
Where can I get them?
Guardians are be available as event rewards. Naturion, the Awakened is the first one of its kind, but more will follow in the future.
How do I upgrade my Guardians? You can do it using Effigies, a new item, which you'll be able to earn in Events, the Spire, or through Crafting (just like Artifacts). Upgrading your Guardians will be possible after an event ends, and can be done while they're active.
What effects do they grant? All Guardians will grant you up to 3 powerful effects, depending on their stage of evolution. There is no cost to activate these effects but they only last for a limited period of time, entering a cooldown phase afterwards. Only after the cooldown they can be reactivated by Summoning your Guardian. Only one Guardian can be Summoned at any given time.
Which effects does Naturion grant?
Kind regards,
Your Elvenar Team
