Buried City is safe at last! With the help of all races, Barchanni and his people survived the devastating earthquake. Some say the earthquake was a curse and a blessing at the same time for it also brought the ancient history of the city to the surface. Now, once again we grab our digging equipment and best spells to dig deeper into the earth. This time, we are excavating to discover the lost story of the founders of this settlement.
Starting from February 2nd until February 21st, you can solve quests and search your city outskirts to gain Provisions, which you can trade for Shovels, Bottled Winds and Vacuum Vials to help you with The Great Excavation.
The Shovel can clear one tile covered by dirt, The Bottled Wind can clear a single column of dirt tiles, although its strength will be limited by obstacles, and The Vacuum Vial can clear all surrounding dirt tiles.
With The Great Excavation, we include a new power that will help you to find rewards in the dirt: The Golden Eye!
This helps you to plan your route through the dirt without wasting too many tools you would need to see if there are any prizes in the dirt patches surrounding you. The deeper you look, the thicker the dirt becomes, so we can really emphasize to use the Golden Eye!
Keep also in mind that any sun collected while the Golden Sun is charged is not saved for a second charge!
During the event, you will earn provisions with your daily log-in, you can collect provisions from event quests, you can also find provisions on the outskirts of your city and you can use the provisions to buy new digging equipment from the Excavation shop! Make sure to find the pieces of Amuni Knowledge that are lost in the digging site. The Amuni Knowledge will help the Amuni to discover their ancient history. You will unearth and earn awesome pieces to complete your Ancient Promise set!

Fulfilling the event quests will also grant you Milestone Rewards at certain points along the way.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that there can always be differences in event layouts, balancing and prizes between Beta and Live release. App version 1.168 is required for the event to function properly. This app version is released separately from the event. In addition to that, please note that the final day of the event spans more than 24 hours, in order to not have the event end during the night (CET). That means the Daily Exclusive on February 20 is the final Daily Exclusive reward that is also available for some more hours in the morning (CET) of February 21. No new event quest is added to the quest line on February 21, the final Quest Milestone can be unlocked on February 20.
