Evolving building's lack of teleportation is only the matter of InnoGames laziness. They told they would need to make 180 versions of the same building, 10 for each chapter. This is about work to do, not being too difficult to do.

We proposed very simple solution, by making them teleportable at certain levels like level 5 or level 10. There's no answer until this day.

3KP is very important because with all those KPs you can quickly end wonders which will make your problems with seeds and sentient goods disappear. Unless you have 50 accounts like people on polish server and you fill your wonders to level 35 in 2 days without any reaction from game team

Lazy?
Not lazy but totally impractical.

It would make much more sense to completely rework the code governing it to create a different storage method, then another piece of code to convert it from storage X to storage Y.
but that takes money a dev time, money and dev time they want to rather spend on other things, You can only spend a budget once.

If they gonna spend a l;arge piece of budget I find a new rework of the spire/tournament code making much more sense, than spending it on teleporting evolve buildings.

the game is a mess right now, there is no fun in staying in lower chapters and there is also no fun in destroying your tournament chances.

Impractical is your defense of their laziness

Ah cost is never an equasion in your world.
I'll guess you are one of those rare persons who spend 300.000 dollar on pimping a 500 dollar wreck ford escort.
In the real world it's a cost vs benefit analysis. this that person to lazy to fix up that ford escort, or just does it not make any sense?

Lazy is ordering a new car because the floor mats are dirty and you do not want to clean the car so you buy a new one.

To be fair, I think you have a tendency to focus too much on perceived programming costs.
I've had my BiL whip up code to change things on my website during his coffee break. Inno is ridiculous when it comes to both small and large projects, and unless German programmers are 10x more expensive and 90% more useless than others most changes players ask for wouldn't take more than a single programmer's day to complete. The cost is pretty minimal for a company with 400 staff making $200,000,000 per year.

Example:
Don't tell me that couldn't be done in a couple of hours with even a semi-competent programmer working on existing garbage code.

Dude on my live server i wasted 2000 diamonds for refreshes of academy (40 tries) + waited whole event and i've got 0 recipes of Phoenix for blueprints which i have in my inventory waiting, and 12 times recipe for of Phoenix artifacts for new artifacts which i don't have for trade.

If you think that after such level of fakery and unprofessionalism from Inno Games i will be easy on them then you met wrong person.

They are lazy people, i've asked multiple people from programmers and it's only the ammount of time that is the issue and experienced coder would make it in days.

They just DON'T CARE

Interface changes are always a PitA. UI/UX has to approve, and QA has to check it. It's more bureaucracy than programmer time, but it exists.

Edit: One previous place I worked devoted one week a year to fixing as many simple things as possible (since the simple things fall through the cracks). They even made a contest of it, so the simplest changes got snapped up first. But otherwise, you were too busy with the big tasks to think about the little ones.

This is from the EN update announcement for this week, so coming to the rest of Live on Thursday. This is only for mobile, and I don't remember seeing it tested on Beta first, but it is a good thing:

City View - A new option to hide buildings when in Move mode has been added to the game. When entering Move mode, you can select to either show or hide all buildings on your City View.

I just want a 2-d outline of where all the buildings are so that the isometric view doesn't get in the way.

Set Buildings can be teleported unlike evolving buildings, that's a plus.
Let me guess. As useless as Air Traders set or even worse.

Chapter 18 stats (no set bonuses yet), all up for changes of course
-Pilgrims Manor (3x2) 48h - mana 25k, gold 168k, pop 1300 cult 870
-Pilgrims Woodshop (4x2) 24h - planks 11100, pop 2900, cult 1470
-Pilgrims Stone Mason (2x4) 24h - marble 11100, pop 2900, cult 1470
-Galaxy Plaza (2x2) 24h - gold 75k, mana 6800, cult 2800
-Pilgrims Forge (3x2) 24h - steel 9400, pop1660 cult 1000
-Tree Entrance (4x1) pop 2400 cult 4900
-Fountain Entrance (4x1) pop 2400 cult 4900

Can someone figure out what shape it would have and is it irregular shape or nice rectangle?

@Enevhar Aldarion For early chapter, as almost everything else. I shall see if it will be worth for my beta city (depending on mana set bonuses), for my main city i prefer residences + magic residences & high level Springs over pop/cult hybrids.

I've been playing with it and I can't figure out how to make it square... I don't know if I'm just not very good at this game though!

You can't talk about shape without taking into account set bonuses (which are not known for now) and probability to get more than one building of some type. But judging on names, doubt that set bonuses would be distributed in a way that would allow you to place 2 entrances one behind the other.=)

my bet is something like this:

with easy obtainable second stone mason - like this
