- A good description of the suggestion (extensive, well described, what other game features would it influence and how, who would benefit from it etc)
Recently Spire chests probabilities were modified (maybe related to this announcement, maybe as undocummented change), as a result the loss of potential average diamonds gain.
Previous average gain:
[30%*15+ 20%*20+ 30%*20+40%*50]+[30%*15+20%*20+30%*20+45%*75] +[30%*15+20%*20+30%*20+45%*125] =153.5
Current average gain:
[20%*15
+ 20%*20
+ 20%*20
+40%*50
]+[20%*15
+20%*20
+20%*20
+35%*75
] +[20%*15
+20%*20
+20%*20
+25%*125
] =110.5
Average loss: 43.0 (-28%)
In case there was need to modify the probabilities (which is highly dubious), supply windfall/coin rain/portal profit percentages could be modified instead.
- A motivation for the suggestion (so what would be the added value?)
Spire was already as difficult as it was, there is no need to reduce the diamonds probability and the average gain per week.
- Any downsides (if there are any)
Less player complains in the Forum.
