do you have an example of what you had hard time finding?
the easiest way in my opinion is using the search function, since then you can search in confirmed, fixed and archive sections all at the same time.
bugs about new items, usually get reported really fast, and when we confirm those bugs, we leave a redirect for a few days so others see that bug in the overview and dont report the same thing again.
anyway if you cant find it fast, then you just make a new bug report, and we will mark it as duplicate if its allready been reported. No need to spend a long time going through all the bugs before you report it.
