Release Notes version 1.28



Dear Humans and Elves,

We have updated Elvenar Beta to version 1.28 today! Today's update includes the following content:

Improvements


  • Chapter 6 Ancient Wonders have got their rebalancing!
    - Dwarven Bulwark: Instead of giving a fixed number of BLM units, it now gives a percentage of the current Units per Squad (= Squadsize / Unit Weight) (based on the level of the AW) and instead of giving a fixed number of Training Size, it now gives a percentage of the current Training Size (based on the level of the AW).
    - Mountain Halls: Instead of giving a fixed amount of population, it now gives a percentage of the working population (based on the level of the AW). Goods production only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.

Bugfixes


  • Golden Abyss population bonus wasn't reduced when the building was disconnected.

Work in Progress


  • We're currently working on rebalancing the Ancient Wonders. Since Beta changes are made directly on Master versions, it can happen that a game version is deployed that contains things that are being worked on, while they're not completed yet. Please wait with reporting any bugs related to Ancient Wonders until we have announced in our Release Notes that the work on those particular Ancient Wonders should be completed. Until we announced that, they're still work in progress so you can experience changes that are strange now, because they're not done yet (and therefore not yet announced as well).

Today's update includes the following content:

Improvements


  • Chapter 5 Ancient Wonders have got their rebalancing!
    - Watchtower Ruins: Instead of giving a fixed amount of culture, it now gives a percentage of the required culture (based on the level of the AW). Neighbourly Help bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
    - Thrones of the High Men: This Ancient Wonder now got an extra culture bonus, based on the sum of all Ancient Wonder Levels in your city! The additional ranking points bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
  • Chapter 8 Ancient Wonders have got their rebalancing!
    - Heroes' Forge: Instead of giving a fixed number of Orcs, it now gives a percentage of the completed provinces (based on the level of the AW). The Heavy Melee Units damage bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
    - Shrine of the Shrewdy Shrooms: Instead of giving a fixed number of BLR units, it now gives a percentage of the Units per Squad (= Squadsize / Unit Weight) (based on the level of the AW). The Training Size bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
  • Chapter 9 Ancient Wonders have got their rebalancing!
    - Enar's Embassy: Instead of giving a fixed number of mana per scout, it now gives a percentage of the completed provinces (based on the level of the AW). The Broken Shards per week bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
    - Flying Academy: Instead of giving a fixed number of BMA units, it now gives a percentage of the Units per Squad (= Squadsize / Unit Weight) (based on the level of the AW). The Mercenary Camp training speed bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
  • Chapter 10 Ancient Wonders have got their rebalancing!
    - Maze of the Dark Matter: Instead of giving a fixed amount of mana, it now gives a percentage of the completed provinces (based on the level of the AW). The Mana Decay bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.
    - Dragon Abbey: Instead of giving a fixed amount of mana per spell usage, it now gives a percentage of the completed provinces (based on the level of the AW). The Mage Unit damage bonus only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same.

  • We're currently working on rebalancing the Ancient Wonders. Since Beta changes are made directly on Master versions, it can happen that a game version is deployed that contains things that are being worked on, while they're not completed yet. Please wait with reporting any bugs related to Ancient Wonders until we have announced in our Release Notes that the work on those particular Ancient Wonders should be completed. Until we announced that, they're still work in progress so you can experience changes that are strange now, because they're not done yet (and therefore not yet announced as well).

  • When visiting other players' Ancient Wonders, they no longer show your own statistics. (Edit: The "Overview" tab has been removed)

  • We're currently working on rebalancing the Ancient Wonders.   • It should no longer be possible to store more than 10 broken runeshards.

Today's update includes the following content:

Improvements


  • World Map performance got some general improvements.
  • Chapter 7 Ancient Wonders have got their rebalancing!
    - Prosperity Towers: Instead of giving a fixed amount of supplies, it now gives a percentage of the supply storage (based on the level of the AW). The Power of Provison duration only got changes in the way it's displayed, calculations are the same. However, the spell does get an additional bonus percentage now, based on the level of the AW.
    - Blooming Trader Guild: This Ancient Wonder only got changes in the way its bonuses are displayed, calculations are the same.

Bugfixes


  • Endless Excavation now gives the right amount of supplies at level 14.
  • A textual problem with one of the "Daily Phoenix Diaries" quests was fixed.
