Dear Humans and Elves,

Today we have added a setting to turn off the foggy clouds in your cities and have made some UI improvements! We have also changed the Wholesaler, as we announced before, keeping in mind your feedback from last time. For the full release notes, please check below.

  • We have introduced a setting allowing you to activate and deactivate the new visual effects for weather. You can find this in the settings menu at the bottom right of the game.
  • Many improvements were made in the way the game handles placing streets and street connections.
  • Added a tooltip to see how many resources you have available within the menu to buy Knowledge Points.
  • Added an icon in the build menu to show clearly which building requires a street connection.

  • We will change the way the Wholesaler works. We had already announced this with version 1.17, and have since adjusted it based on your feedback, as we have also announced back then. With the new mechanics of the Wholesaler, you will still be able to buy your non-boosted goods in the Wholesaler, and you can also still pay with either Coins, Supplies or your boosted goods. The change lies in the amount of goods per trade, which from now on depends on the level of your Main Hall (the higher level, the bigger batches you can buy in the Wholesaler), and you can increase this value further by constructing and upgrading the Blooming Trader Guild Ancient Wonder. After every purchase from the Wholesaler, the goods will become a bit more expensive to buy. This increase in price will be reset daily.

  • Resolved a discrepancy between tooltips in the unit information screen and within a battle
  • Fixed an issue where the Magic Academy could show as disconnected, even though it wasn't

We have just updated Beta with the following changes:
  • Resolved an error occuring when opening the Tournament menu
  • Fixed a problem with the displayed population and culture requirements for upgrading buildings
  • Fixed a problem with the Fellowship ranking
  • It is no longer possible for a disconnected building to produce anything
 
We've just updated Beta with the following changes:
  • Fixed a problem where buying Knowledge Points would make two purchases with a single click
  • Resolved a problem that caused the Barracks to show as idle even though they were not
  • Fixed the problem where Sword Dancers from the Dwarven Bulwark were not credited correctly to some players, and compensated for the missing units for those affected

Hi everyone,

We have just updated Beta to our latest 1.22 version, including the following content:
  • Fixed a problem with the chat cursor going out of sync with the text
  • After finishing a tournament province, you are now sent back to the world map again
  • Resolved a problem where it was possible to place buildings on expansions that didn't exist in the first place
  • Fixed a problem that caused ranking points to be awarded wrongly, including a recalculation of the ranking to correct the error for affected players
  • Fixed a bug that caused the display of which Rune Shard was awarded after a tournament to be different from the actual Rune Shard awarded
  • The Tournament progress bar is now always available on the world map while a tournament is going on
  • Resolved a problem that could cause more Knowledge Points to be added in an Ancient Wonder than was the maximum, resulting in errors
  • Indicators of new technologies in the research tree no longer stay in place after a technology has been researched
  • Fixed a problem in the Tutorial that could cause an account to become stuck

Hello everyone,

We just updated Beta with the following changes:
  • Buildings from the Valentine's Day questline can now receive Neighborly Help
  • Some guest race buildings didn't work correctly after upgrading the portal, this is fixed now
  • An issue preventing players from accessing a Tournament Province via the overview menu has been resolved
  • Resolved a problem where the wrong Rune Shards were rewarded at the end of a Tournament
  • In rare cases it was possible to place buildings outside your unlocked city grid. This issue cannot occur again, but we are still working on resolving the problem for those people currently affected by it. We apologize for this inconvenience and have to ask for your patience regarding this

Hello again,

It seems our update from yesterday unfortunately introduced a new issue - sorry for that. So, that means we are fixing that one today, as well as two other issues:
  • Resolved an issue where buildings could show and behave as if disconnected from the Main Hall, even though they weren't
  • Fixed a problem where sending messages didn't always work correctly
  • Exchanged a wrong graphical asset in the upgrade screen for a certain level of the Armory
