…they are holding back 1.164 on beta. they have the tools to fix the neighbourhood bug player by player, but they have also mentioned that they don’t know what exactly caused it. releasing a newer version might still include the bug and cause the next wave of cov… *cough* neighbourhood bug.

unfortunately, the "exact" cause hasn't been found yet, because certain changes on beta made the issue obvious. As soon as these certain changes aren't made, the issue shouldn't appear on live (especially since it's so major, we really wouldn't want that to happen).

I referred strictly to what Vaeri said. From my side they can skip whenever they decide to do so, I couldn't care less.Look back at the release notes for the past year or so and you will see that Marindor did not post them all. As he put it, if there was not something major in the notes, Inno did not have him post about a release.
We probably won't publish a changelog for 1.164 on the beta forum, since there is currently a lot of work done behind the curtains for new stuff.The next release notes will be published in time.
