Another problem in difficulty in collecting enough relics may lie in the arrangement of your boosts relative to availability on the map.
I have between 23 and 27 provinces open with being blocked by the lack of orcs. It just so happens that for me, my highest demand relic, dust, is also my lowest access in ability to accumulate relics as 23 is my maximum open provinces for the dust tournament.
It looks to me that I have no dust provinces in ring 1 and then only 1 in ring 2 and I think 2 in ring 3. Right about now I am wonder why the developers thought putting in actual rings so we could see which ring a province belongs to was such a bad idea... I very quickly find it difficult to count, but perhaps the 3 provinces that are not in the home ring are more difficult to collect because having few provinces opened.
Has anyone done counts on provinces open by rings based on boost set up?
