The likes is because the original Community Management Team deprioritised posts in the Lounge, as it's just for fun. I assume the images is for the same reason, though I don't see why we shouldn't be able to post images in here. Certainly that's something we can look at changing. I think the likes will stay as is though, since pretty much everything in the lounge is kinda spammy

You're welcome! To expand on what I said before about the likes - being able to like spammy posts would not be a good thing as a person's rank/title on the forum depends on how many likes they received, and so we want to be rewarding useful posts only

The only way is possible by using an external link. In other places i can add from my local computer.
