Current situation:
__When contributing badges in the pit, if a player tries to contribute a badge that has already been contributed by another player, an error message is shown. This can happen when the player opens the pit window before the other player has contributed badges. The badges are subtracted from the player’s inventory anyway.

Expected situation:
__If a badge is not needed, the error message should display and the player should keep the badges they tried to contribute.

Reproduction Steps
1. Player 1 opens pit window.
2.Player 2 opens pit window.
3. Player 1 contributes badges to complete the requirements for that pit point and is moved to next point. Their badge count is correct.
4. Player 2’s display shows unfilled requirement. Player 2 contributes badges.
5. Player 2 receives error message.
6. Player 2 views badge inventory and sees badges were deducted.
