Current situation: the description of the event says:

__ well, that being in the event image is definitively not a horse ;-)

EDIT: more or less the same thing goes for the achievable points. they seem to be chestnuts, not hazelnuts, while these shells (the 3 chests) seem to be horse chestnuts, which is something else again.

I'll adjust the announcement text a bit, thanks for the head's up About the nuts: You can collect nuts around your city and from event quests and they are used to open the chestnuts
