More inventory tabs

I do not want the developers to be restricted in there options to innovate because there is no more room for "tabs"
if they come up with soimething cool, they should be able to implement it.

I can see the concern, but it doesn't strike me as an issue. Interface design is not exactly in its infancy, and no more room for tabs is pretty easy to fix in several different ways. Off the top of my head, paging, scrolling, and drop-down-on-hover, are all easy answers for lack of tab space.
