Did anyone notice that the Magic of Yore Event already started a few days before?

Maybe there isn't any information about this here yet because this event known as the Big Pop was kept secret for ages?

First thing that catched my eye was that I was able to complete that quest...

...by using enchantments and collecting mana with the help of the Dragon abbey effect.

Doesn't sound very spectacular, does it?

I am just mentioning this because I just tried to solve exactly the same quest with the same text today on live server in winter event and using enchantments to do so wasn't counted. And yes I got a Dragon Abbey there too of course. ;)

Can anybody tell me why or maybe teach me the differences? :)

That's exactly what my level of knowledge was and is.

I just went back to that live city in order to proof that it isn't counted, but now it is working again. :D

Must have been a glitch. I swear I just used a couple of PPs about an hour ago. Mana was granted but not counted to questlog.
