Fixed Logging in screen freezes

Reproducibility: Happened three times in a row so far. I have not been able to access the game this afternoon.

Current situation: The game does not load. When logging in the green bar gets to about 76% and then freezes with a strange error message instead of the expected percentage loaded.

Expected situation: The green bar should show the percentage loaded until the game opens.
