Improve the perks by adding new perks and adding more levels

The perks that are currently available have no significant impact on the FS and are just nice to have.
Adding more and better perks will give EXP a greater meaning, while we won't need to dump any EXP on perks that don't matter at all.
At the same time, it could make sense to add more levels to the Tournament and Spire perk.

all FS are different.
some take 19 chests in the tournament each week.
some FS get gold in the spire every week.
some FS only have golden hands in NH so 1 perk is enough.
so why do you have to have 10 lvl on all perks if you don't have the need.
each FS makes a choice what they want.

there are so many fellowships who don't even have all 4 perks on level 10 so there is no reason to increase anything yet
...and many, if not most, will never have 4 to level 10. I wouldn't be surprised if most never have even 1 to level 10. So, I don't think that is a good reason against it.

I like the concept, but except the KP one, they don't have much value above 10. So maybe adding more perks would be a better idea.

I wouldn't mind up they give higher perks. I think it would be a nice idea to introduce more perks and higher levels as well. And give more points out to make it more interesting. I'm curious what is going to be next as they said more coming later.

a perk that could be added is a extra chest per level when you give help to someone in the fellowship.

That would be more powerful than the new Scout's Tavern AW which gives another chest per rune upgrade. Your idea restricts getting the chests to your FS. However, I don't see the devs going for it. I know I wouldn't build the Scout's Tavern if that was a perk. Imagine 13 chests a day due to visits.

That does make we wonder and will begin getting me to think about other perk ideas.

Of course, it would be "easy" to suggest more levels, but would it really be better? I think we are more happy in the long run when we have a look at "how the system should look like in five years".

what I would really like, is something similar to the friends tavern in FoE. The ability to get an extra turn (for short time) in spire negotiation game.

What also would be great is a way to reduce the spire / tournament cost (so like make wonders or epansions have less impact on your cost).
An effect similar to simia sapiens: you gain more troops in your barracks.
Higher chance of bonus chest in spire.
increased base culture value.

I can think of so many nice things, im just gonna stop now, or ill get depressed at the current state of the perks.

I think the are plenty of options. The perks are generally good for any player, but scalable and could be a unique combination for each fellowship.

It could give health boost for troops, decreasing negotiation costs. Could give items weekly, like instants.

Supply and gold instants would be especially welcome after the declinable quests are removed, plus cauldron, plus FA gold sacks, plus increased training capacities.

Could be MA related perks, or FA, or any. The possibilities are endless. And that would be the unique selling point that each fellowship could diversify or specialise in different ways. Make the community more unique.

- Increase the length of time a 5-day building last. Maybe by 1 or 2days at level 10. I've thought about an AW doing this, but people would have to be at the end of chapter 21 or later. This would help everyone who fights.
- Decreases base troop/catering size for both tourney and spire. Maybe by 20% at level 10. Ok that might be greedy. How about 10%.

The Cauldron and the Season of Dreams may suggest other perk ideas as time passes. 5 years, you say. A lot more features can be added in that time. The FA was introduced in Aug. of '17, just over 5-years ago. So, the FA, Spire, Cauldron and Season of Dreams plus tweaks to certain aspects of game play like the evolving buildings, sets, and (the one that makes many shudder) tourney changes. The perk system just needs to be expandable to new perks as new features are added. It'd be a drag if it becomes static like the background of the FA.

Is there even 1 fellowship anywhere close to level 40?

It's a bit early if the maxing out will take at lease another year or two
On live I is on a FS
we like KP = we have lvl 10
all member give NH we do not have green hand = we only need 1 lvl
we get Gold in spire = we do not need level
we get 17 chest in tourament = to have before 18 chest we have 6 lvl

we only need 10+1+0+6 lvl = 17 all level to 40 we do not nead;-(
