Game version: n/a
HTML5 Yes/No: Yes
Game world: n/a (beta forum)
Browser/IOS/Android + version: Firefox 83.0
Flash Player version: n/a
Operating System: Windows 7
Screen resolution: 1440 x 900
Account name: UlyssesBlue
Humans or Elves: Elves

Reproducibility: 5/5 (1/5 = happened once; 2/5 = happens randomly; 3/5 = happens sometimes; 4/5 = happens often, but not always; 5/5 = happens always)

Quest title: n/a

Current situation:
If I turn off the snow effect on the forum, then open a forum link in a new tab, then forum page in that new tab has everything reset, so the snow is present in the tab (but not the first one) and the snow control tab is open and back to its default position.

Expected situation:
Snow settings should be remembered for all forum pages that are opened subsequent to the settings being changed.

Reproduction Steps:
1. Open an elvenar forum page in a browser tab. (This will be referred to as Tab1.)
2. Change the snow settings (either turn it off, or adjust time/density of snow). Also minimise the snow tab, and slide it to a different location.
3. In Tab1, click to another forum page. Note the new settings stay at whatever you set them to, as they should.
4. Open another forum page in a new tab. (This will be referred to as Tab2.) Note that in Tab2 the snow is back to its default settings, and the snow tab is back to its original position, and open.
5. Make no adjustments to the snow settings in Tab2. (Alternatively, set them to something different to what they are in Tab1.)
6. In Tab1, load another forum page. Note that the snow or snow-tab settings now reflect what they were in Tab2.

Essentially what this means is if you want the snow to stay off, every time you open a forum page in a new tab, you will have to manually turn if off and minimise the snow control tab, otherwise the snow will reset to its default settings.

Hi @UlyssesBlue this is not a game bug, but it sounds like a memory thing because of the way the snow script works. This is not something we can change on our end.

Hi @UlyssesBlue as said, this is not something we can change on our end. I can't reproduce it myself in Chrome by the way, so might be browser dependent. Maybe for now it would help to use a different browser?
