Answered Fighting in Spire on mobile app

Can someone help me with a problem please. On live world in the Spire wave 1 and wave 2 need totally different troops to defeat it, but on the app you can just choose one set of troops to fight both waves. How are you suppose to defeat this or is it designed to force you to use resources?

On a browser version of the game it is the same as on the app version of the game.
You select the troops you want to use on both fights.
What is left from the first wave you use on the second wave.
Sometimes you get impossible combinations in wave 1 and 2 so on those confrontations you play mastermind.
Sometimes you get 2 waves that are easy to do were most of your troops can have a bonus against the majority of the opponent and then they or lose the bonus but still do good damage or they are fighting against the same units.

So in short, the spire is the same on the browser version and app version.

the only advantage you have on the browser version over the app version.
On the browser version you can manualy fight and therefore you can win some difficult combinations that you would loose on an automatic fight.
