Current situation: Exclamation mark for new news doesn't go away

Expected situation: Exclamation mark to go away after opening all news items

Reproduction Steps:

1. Open News
   
2. Go through all news items
3. Close News
4. See that there still is an exclamation mark.
   

BTW same thing is happening on Live.

it is possibke to switch it off in the mobile version by opening the news and afterwards it's also away in the browser version

Confirmed. This happened to me as well. I tried refreshing the browser, but to no avail. I tried switching from Flash to HTML. Again, no results. Once I exited the city and came back, it was no longer there.
