Feature: You can now specify the stage of a building from both the build menu and the right-click menu, and values in the report will calculate correctly.
Could this also be applied to set buildings? An additional drop-down were we select how many connections it has?:D

Probably in the next version.

Is there ever a scenario where someone would not have n-1 connections on each of n buildings? Besides accidentally of course.
some sets can't have all bonuses
edit : and sometimes it's not convenient to place them to get max bonuses

can i ask for a new feature? it's free to ask anyway, so I'd really like an audit option, to find disconnected buildings on a map. it happened to me several times to think I had the perfect plan only to see when I tried to do it in game that I missed a connection

@Konniver note that game sends number of active connections for set buildings, you can use it to load that data from elvenstats (or any other city data source), same way as phoenix stages.

there is already the possibility within the settings on left side, called "Highlight". there you can get "requires a street" and all building requiring a street are highlighted

edit:
I wanted to thank you for the feature, all day long to refresh the map, not only on a sunday afternoon

it's not exactly the same, since you still have to check every building to see if it has a connected street or not

Big update

The long awaited "next version" of the website is finally here, which includes many changes across the board.

Although the update mainly focused on the underlying code by migrating it to a newer framework, it has allowed for many optimisations and additions to be made. The full changelog is as follows:

General Updates:

  • A search feature is now available on the top menu, enabling you to quickly find any page, building or unit.
  • General improvements to localized number formats.
  • A Privacy Policy has been added.
City Planner:

  • Many aspects of the City Planner have been optimised, allowing for quicker load times and smoother performance.
  • Tips have been added to the loading screens to highlight the not so obvious features of the tool. These can also be accessed from the Help menu.
  • You can now load your Browser save from the first screen.
  • You can now start the Import process from the first screen.
  • The Build menu will now show if a building produces orcs, mana or seeds.
  • The Highlight tool now allows you to select buildings that produce culture or seeds.
  • Manual Report refreshing is gone, the report will refresh automatically whilst it is open. Hide the report if performance is an issue.
  • Advanced Reports now allow you to sort results by clicking on the column header.
  • The Trader level is now visible.
Training Calculator:

Research Calculator:

  • A new tool is now available, the Research Calculator allows you to calculate how much a chapter with cost. Specify which technologies you have yet to unlock and which building you have, or plan to have.
Buildings:

  • New Building Comparison pages have been added for both Orcs and Divine Seeds
  • The building details page now shows the connections it needs and if there are any fixed caps.
  • For evolving buildings, you can now select the desired stage and it will update the buildings provisions accordingly.
Units:

  • New Unit Comparison pages have been created. Nothing special here, just information in one place to determine what a unit type is strong and weak against.

Wow, this is fantastic @Konniver , thank you sooooo much for all the work you do!
I have 2 questions for you:
1- In the report tool, do you take into acount the number of bonuses a set building has?
2- It seems that the winter market set buildings are not taken into account into our production... can you have a look into this?

Regards,
Ange

When I toggle ignore items outside the grid it does not count the things I have out on the left, but seems to count the things I have on the right (and since that was the culture/pop building... it caused me some confusion.) But I love the tool.

It's known that the report does not account for any set bonuses mainly because I didn't want constant adjacency calculations for sets, streets, etc slowing down the tool. Now that the code has been optimised, and once my flu and the new bugs are gone, I'll have another stab at this.

When I toggle ignore items outside the grid it does not count the things I have out on the left, but seems to count the things I have on the right (and since that was the culture/pop building... it caused me some confusion.) But I love the tool.

Thankfully this was an easy one to fix. Should be working correctly now.

If I delete a building i can't place anything at this position.

I've been contacted a few times on a similar issue, but under different circumstances. Any chance you can provide me a link to the city plan? I'm unable to replicate the issue in my city or from scratch.

there is trouble importing cities from the beta
I get a french map, which isn't a problem, since I'm french, but the spire set doesn't appear, which is a problem

Through the help of many the collision problems people were having should be fixed, but please do let me know if anyone still has problems.

The first part isn't a bug, importing your city will not automatically change the game files used on the architect, you will need to do that manually from the top-right language menu.

Spire set should now be showing on the site. Nice spot.
