Screen resolution: __ 1920 x 1080 HMI
Account name: __ Katwijk
Humans or Elves: __ Elves

Reproducibility: __ 5/5

Quest title: __ (Just exploring acquisition costs)

Current situation:
Treants, Treant IIs, and Golem II are listed in the Wiki only as Elven Troops, and they are NOT listed as Provincial Troops. But all three of them are showing up as Provincial Troops in a Ring 8 Elixir province.
__

Expected situation:
Treants and Golems should not be fighting for the wrong side.

The most logical assumption is that somebody forgot to convert these units to Provincial Troops of the proper type and number.

Reproduction Steps
1.
Find a Ring 8 Elixir Province
2. Hit stuff

See https://en.wiki.elvenar.com/index.php?title=Province_Units for a more comprehensive list of provincial units.

Rather than opening a similar bug report for other types of sectors, I'll simply append a few more snapshots.

We also have Treant II's in the Planks sectors and Cerberus II in the Gems sectors. Just as a general observation, all of these unit SHOULD be the level II version of the Provincial Troops, rather than stealing a similar Elven/Human level II unit.

OK, then we'll live with the turncoats. HOWEVER we can still rescue something from the various snapshots.

You'll note that sometimes the Attack Window is titled "Army Setup" while at other times it's titled "Province of Planks" as shown in the above posts. Would you prefer a new bug report, or can we simply repurpose this report?

Always indicating the relic type, in the title, would be my preference.

"Province of X" is the first window if you click on an encounter.
"Army Setup" is the 2nd window, after you clicked fight.

 This is a tough crowd when you're just trying to pry loose a few diamonds. :D

Actually, my motivation for doing this in the first place is working out rather nicely.
  • Both the average number of defending troops and the average cost of negotiation varies quadratically with the number of acquired sectors, with a significant offset for each new ring.
  • Within each sector, both types of cost are linear, but are NOT correlated to each other. In the following chart the costs are divided by 1000, so that they'll both fit on the same chart.
    • The Defending Troops are sorted by the number of squads
    • The Negotiation Costs are sorted Low to High
