Beta Wipe

Hey,

I was just wondering if there is a wipe planned before the release of the game?

I think this server will stay as it is. It's first server on beta market in the future will be open new servers so in my opinion wipe is not planned.

I agree with yetj. This world will probably keep on running, unless really critical (game blocking) bugs are discovered that gave some people really unfair advantages (enough to warrant a restart).
Other than that, new worlds will open and also different language versions as soon as beta testing is over

Just to reassure you all, there will not be any changes to the current world (beta1) when the game is released. or indeed when we go to the open beta phase. All existing accounts will remain in place, there will be no wipe.

This server will be always beta? like in Forge of Empire? there is a server beta where are tested the new version before the official release in the other nationals servers?

This server will remain the Beta server for Elvenar. Even when the game goes to live servers this server will still be doing important testing of new features and updates.

I think with limited numbers of players allowed on here its more likely that once a new world opens up, ppl will start playing there and not here.

Edit: Also I'm sure many players wanna play in their own language and not english.

There will be servers from many countries as soon Elvenar reach a point when step out from beta and could be released to public. Don't forget, this is a Closed Beta Test only, the very 1st phase of the game! I'm pretty sure the beta will remain english.

The number is limited only during the closed beta period, and the number is currently small because they've only just started giving out keys. They'll keep sending more so there will be more and more players. Zarok pointed out this server will remain even in the Open Beta status. I imagine it will be something like with the other Inno games (a beta server + servers for all language versions of the game they open up). If that's the case then there will always be players here.

Some of the players enjoy testing issues and in general this would be a more "relaxed" server since the competition wouldn't be as large as on the main servers. Others like playing on the beta server in addition to playing on the main servers so they get to experience all new
