    Dear Humans and Elves,

Over the last months we have been evaluating the ways we update our servers and release new versions. As a result of that, we want to announce a change in the way we will be updating Beta from now on. Instead of two-weekly updates (sometimes with hotfixes inbetween), we will be updating Beta every morning around 8am CET from next week on. We will start this as soon as the version for 1.24 has been deployed on Beta, which we expect to happen on Monday or Tuesday. We are doing this to improve Elvenar's overall quality, as well as creating the possibility to react to your feedback faster than we currently can. This goes for fixing bugs, but of course also for feedback on new features, balancing changes, etc.

This is quite a major change and we are aware that this can bring some issues with it. Therefore, we are happy to discuss this new approach with you - please leave us a message in the discussion thread for that. Also, over the past two years we have been able to provide you with the release notes and changes for all updates as soon as they came in, but by updating Beta every morning, we unfortunately will not be able to continue doing it exactly like that. We will, however, post the changes as soon as possible, so that you know what changes have been made, but please don't be surprised to find some delays.

The update process will be fully automated, and it is possible that this process fails for whatever reason. Should this occur, there will not be an update that morning. Also, in case nothing changed compared to the version of the day before, there will also not be an update. Lastly, we want to note that it is possible that you will find changes on Beta that will not be released on all of our International (Live) servers yet, and it can even happen that you can enjoy a feature on Beta in an earlier version already than you would be able to on Live.

Because of this daily update schedule, big new game features/rebalancing/chapters etc will also be released in different stages, rather than all on 1 day. Therefore it can happen that you already see certain parts of it in the game (like the start of a new quest line) while the rest of the new content isn't there yet. In those cases, the fact that you see the first parts of the release already is not a bug, but it's a result of the way we update now. In the past we waited until there was a completely new game version and updated everything at once then, but now we'll release/update parts of the new feature on a daily basis. Therefore please also refrain from reporting bugs about new content until we have announced in our Release Notes that the new content should be fully available.

Please feel invited to share your thoughts in the discussion thread. We are looking forward to discussing these changes with you.

    Kind regards,
    Your Elvenar Team

    Hi everyone,

Just a reminder: Because of this daily update schedule, big new game features/rebalancing/chapters etc will also be released in different stages, rather than all on 1 day.
