The U.S. forum's newly engaged mods are committed to transparently forwarding ideas that get a critical mass. If you have an account on U.S., and have ever wished you could see the terrain before you pick your troops, instead of having to scout, there is a fairly decent concept being voted on for the troop assignment screen to display a shadow battlefield. It's not my idea, and I'm not 100% sure it should go, but it does a fairly good job of not getting in the way, so feel free to engage there.
