Cannot reproduce Battle interrupted by end of tournament message and can't continue

Reproduction Steps
Starting a new battle in a province
Select troops
Message popup saying Tournament is over and I will receive my prizes just as I hit the Fight button
After popup screen returned to region selection screen
Select region
Select troops for battle
Click Fight
Error occurs saying Battle is already in progress

Going back to my city and then back to world map would not clear the problem. I cannot start a new battle.

When I logged off and back on again it asked my if I wanted to return to an ongoing battle and now it works again.

I can't reproduce this. Tried it as described, but nothing goes wrong. I can start battles just as always. Anybody else experienced this?

I tried again at the end of this week's tournament, but still couldn't reproduce it. Tagging this thread as cannot reproduce for now. If anyone experience this issue again, please let us know.
