Cannot reproduce Attacking too quickly causes turns to be skipped

If you are attacking (at least in melee) and click on the enemy before the icon changes to a sword, the game treats it as a "wait" action and you lose your attack. This is compounded by the bug reported earlier of the game not remembering your battle speed preference (it feels like it takes longer for the attack icon to show up).

Can confirm. Though it only occurs quite randomly to me. Sometimes units still attack although the attack symbol is not shown, sometimes they just wait and end their turn.

The same happened to me as well, I found lowering the Combat Quality helped greatly.

It was quite irritating when losing my turn. I thought to report it, but anyway it's still early in the game, so we should wait until making changes to it..

I tested it in several battles since my last post (I only did it where I wouldn't risk losing troops) Double-Clicking can cause turns to be skipped as well, and often skips the attack phase after movement - most likely due to the fact that clicking your active occupied tile equates to waiting your turn.

I have the same problem, too.
I found out that it happens when you move your mouse over the target while a unit ist doing an action.
(e.g. you say your unit to move to a field and then move the mouse over the target or your placing your mouse over the target for your next unit, while your current unit is still moving)
The problem disappered after moving the mouse again, but it is quite annoying and I lost a few units to that problem.
Reducing the graphic in the battle doesn't work, and my hardware isa quite good, so that shouldn't be the problem.

I confirm that.
I do believe it happens only if you put the battle to maximum speed, as the only two times it happened to me was exactly the two times I placed it into the higher speed mode.

I can confirm this is happening, though not the exact steps to reproduce. It is as shmike said

and as DarkBreath said seems to happen
when you move your mouse over the target while a unit ist doing an action.

though this is does not seem to cause this issue every time, so if anyone has ant further information as to when exactly this is happening, please post your observations here.

I have the same problem. It occurs like shmike said, whenever you click an enemy unit while the cursor has not yet changed to a sword. You can avoid that by watching the cursor carefully in battle and moving it over an enemy unit (you have to move the cursor) to trigger the change. It is an inconveniently programmed event, not an actual bug, I think.

hello

i've done a video showing the bug

http://screenpresso.com/=iETbc

it's happening every time you put the cursor on an ennemy when your unit is moving. If you click , it end your turn

Also be careful not to put the cursor when moving, if you do , to have the sword cursor you have to put the cursor off the unit after the moving and then return on the ennemi

as shown on the video

hoping it will be usefull sorry for the translation my english need practise (french player can join me in french in game... same name)

I've noticed this happening too. It does also happen when I don't move the unit somewhere else myself and let it automove, but it definately happens more often when I do move the unit to another spot first myself, before attacking.

For me also, attacking the opponent is not always done, even when pointer changed or when I waited until movement was ended to apoint the target.

Doesn't matter which browser I use, attack is not always carried out

Still not Working. When i click to fast. it is not attacking, the army ends the turn. When i don't want to end the turn bevor attacking, i must klick the attack bevor moving. this is a nice work around, but mostly the attacking army is not on the position i want him to move.

Update; I have also noticed a unit making a movement and/or attacking a unit which I had ordered the previous unit to do, whilst I might be clicking on a whole other square or target. So I tell one unit to attack target x, it does that, I order the next unit to attack target y, it attacks target x. Seems to mostly happen if you are perhaps going to fast, have the mouse centered on the next target already before the first unit is done, and don't move your mouse anymore before you click.

I Think it is a problem of the pointer. When you do not mark the enemy on his feed, it could happen that the turn ends without attacking.
perhabs the Field marking must be on a better way. The bowmen is the best example. Place the arrow on the feet and everything is good. Place the bow on the enemy the turn ends without attacking.
